Sleep paralysis is a feeling of being conscious with the unability to move, it happens at the beginning or the end of the sleep. It occurs when a person passes between stages of wakefulness and sleep. During these transitions, you may be unable to move or speak for a few seconds up to a few minutes.
Entrave is a short film who talks about this pathology. Sacha wakes up, feeling strange, in a dark monastery. Pursued by the Shadow, she tries somehow to escape from this uncanny place.
In October 2021, Entrave was shown in cinema in Paris.
