✹ Short Movie by Mordred Guadagno

Mordred Guadagno, director of his short film CRUSH, asked me to create the film's title and illustrations. A childish & kitsch universe covered in pastels inspired by the 2000s art.

Synopsis: A story between two girls friends 😇 For a sociology TP, Nina & Astrid decide to interview her ex-boyfriends. The aim: to talk about love 🥰
Each illustration presents a character and the relationship they have or had with Nina.

The illustrations were used to present the crushes Nina wanted to interview. Inspired by the Graphic Design of the 2000s used in American teen series. Each character has his or her own history with Nina, but also his or her own particularity.

As the characters move on, tension mounts between the two protagonists. The colors of the labels fade because the understanding is no longer there. In order of appearance:

♥ Léo: self-proclaimed "crazy bad boy" 😎
♥ Adil: seasonal crush (in a coffeeshop) ☕
